Steps


1. We release the tape measure and convert the spring potential energy to kinetic energy.
2. A trap door is triggered by the kinetic energy of the tape measure letting go of the bottom of the cup. Then a marble is released and the change in gravitational potential energy is transferred through a system of three pulleys.

3. This change is potential energy manifests itself in the kinetic energy of the car. The car travels, aided by gravity, down an inclined plane.

4. The car hits a dowel triggering a lever which changes the direction and height of the force which then drops a marble.
5. The marble travels through a series of inclined planes and eventually drops on a mouse trap.

6. The mouse trap is activated and its spring causes a dowel to hit a tennis ball.
7. The tennis ball is pushed forward by the force from the dowel and knocks down a series of wooden blocks in domino fashion.

8. The last of the blocks activates a second mouse trap which strikes a hammering force down on the button of an umbrella.
9. The umbrella shoots out and hits a rotating straw.
10. The straw hits some dominos and the last one lands on the mouse trap.

11. The mouse trap is activated and a graham cracker attached to a spatula land on a plate containing the other half of the smore.
